  • I don’t bill any insurance directly, but if you have out-of-network mental health benefits on your plan, you may be entitled to partial reimbursement of the fee you pay your therapist out of pocket. Upon request, we will provide you with a detailed statement (a “superbill”) at the end of each month that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Below are some questions to ask your insurance provider, if you would like some clarity on exactly how much of your sessions will be covered:

    • What are my out-of-network benefits for psychotherapy?

    • Do I have a deductible?

    • Are there a limited number of sessions that are covered by my plan?

    • Do I need any type of prior authorization or referral?

    • Is telehealth covered at the same rate as in-person sessions?

    • How much (percentage of “allowable amount”) will I get reimbursed per visit when I see an out-of-network mental health provider?

    • What is the “allowable amount” for individual psychotherapy (CPT code: 90834) with a psychologist (PhD) in Brooklyn, NY (Zip code: 11238)? For couples therapy or family therapy (CPT code: 90847)?

  • Finding support and starting therapy is not easy. I offer a free initial consultation of 20 minutes to get to know each other and talk about your needs. This call will help you make the decision if I’m the right fit for you and your family.

  • I'm committed to offer a supportive, safe space. A non-judgmental environment to bring forward and reflect on daily struggles and challenges in your personal and family life. We'll work together to help understand some of the patterns and difficulties that bring you here and create space to alleviate them along the way.
